Convert

Design and ship in-app conversion experiences — flows, banners, channels, and experiments.

What Convert is for

Convert is the dashboard pillar for in-app conversion experiences. Under each app, the Convert sidebar group includes:

PageUse it for
OverviewCross-cutting Convert KPIs for the app (entry point under Convert)
ChannelsWhat each test or live channel serves — flow, banner, code, or experiment
FlowsMulti-screen onboarding and journey catalogs; open the flow builder
BannersSingle-frame inline promo units; open the banner canvas
ExperimentsA/B tests on a channel (flow, banner, or code content kinds)

Convert is distinct from Engage (lifecycle email, webhook, and push) and from Analytics (product visitors, sessions, retention). Per-flow funnel charts still live under Customers & analytics when you open a flow's analytics.

Mental model

  1. Author a flow or banner and publish a version.
  2. Pin that version on a channel, or attach a running experiment.
  3. The SDK resolves the channel with your publishable key and renders kind: "flow", kind: "banner", or code parameters — see the Developer Guide.

Publishing alone does not put content in front of users. The channel assignment does.

Convert Overview

Open Convert → Overview. The page uses the same test / live environment selector and date range as other analytics surfaces.

KPI tiles

TileMeaning
Active FlowsFlows pinned on a channel or serving in a live experiment in this environment
Active BannersBanners pinned on a channel or serving in a live experiment in this environment
Flow Startsflow_started events in the selected environment and date range
Banner ImpressionsSum of banner_impression exposures in that range

Serving assets

Two tables list what is actually on channels in this environment:

SectionColumnsEmpty state
FlowsFlow, Channels, Completion (conversion rate when the flow has starts; otherwise “No starts”)No flows are serving in this environment
BannersBanner, Channels, Exposures (impressions in range)No banners are serving in this environment

Use these tables to confirm which published versions users can resolve, not the full flow or banner catalogs.

Experiments Gantt

The Experiments chart shows start and end dates that overlap the selected range. Running experiments without an end date extend through today. Each row links to the experiment and shows its channel. Empty when no experiments overlap the range in this environment.

For experiment setup and winner decisions, see Experiments.
