Plans & entitlements
Indie, Grow, Scale, and Enterprise feature matrix — apps, channels, seats, MAU, and feature gates.
Overview
Every workspace runs on a plan tier that caps resources and enables product features. Indie is the free default. Grow, Scale, and Enterprise are paid tiers with higher limits and more capabilities.
Use this page to compare tiers before upgrading. For checkout, invoices, and MAU alerts, see Billing & subscriptions.
Numeric limits
| Plan | Apps | Channels per environment | Seats | Included live MAU |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Indie | 1 | 1 | 1 | 400 |
| Grow | 3 | 3 | 5 | 10,000 |
| Scale | 10 | 10 | 25 | 100,000 |
| Enterprise | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited |
Channel limits apply separately to test and live environments. For example, Indie allows one test channel and one live channel.

How limits apply
In the dashboard
Rheo enforces plan limits when you create apps, channels, experiments, and members. If you are at a cap, the dashboard explains what to archive or upgrade.
On Indie, some actions are hidden even if your role would normally allow them — for example inviting teammates or managing experiments.
In the flow builder
Canvas editor controls let you restrict layer types per app, but your plan may further limit what is available. On Indie, animations (Lottie) are not available regardless of per-app toggles.
In your live app
- Indie MAU cap — live MAU above 400 in a UTC calendar month pauses SDK traffic until the next month or an upgrade.
- Indie feature stripping — translations, animations, and integrations may be omitted from live resolve payloads on Indie.
- Billing suspension — unresolved payment on a paid plan may pause SDK traffic after a grace period.
MAU overage (paid tiers)
| Plan | Overage |
|---|---|
| Indie | Hard cap — SDK pauses until next UTC month or upgrade |
| Grow / Scale | $0.01 per live MAU above included allotment per month |
| Enterprise | Per contract |
Downgrade impact
Downgrading runs a preview that lists resources you must archive before the change takes effect — excess apps, channels, experiments, and members must fit the target tier. See Billing & subscriptions.
